Pearlie is the main titular character of the books and series with the same name. She is a fairy who lives in the Jubilee Park Fountain. Pearlie's fountain is ocean-themed. She lives in an oyster-shaped sculpture, and the oyster is surrounded by models of a mermaid and Neptune. She wears a set of pearls on her head.
She is the fairy responsible for keeping Jubilee Park safe from the sabotage of Saphira and other villains. Pearlie also wants to be friends with everybody, including her grumpy and envious cousin, Saphira. She is best friends with Opal and Jasper.
Appearance
Pearlie is a young fairy girl with long wavy platinum blonde hair, green eyes with three eyelashes, fair skin, freckles, blushed cheeks, pink lipstick, pointed ears, and transparent fairy wings. She wears white pearls above her hairline and her wand she uses is gold with a snowflake-esque looking design at the end consisting of small blue pearls.
While she often wears different outfits throughout the show and books, she has a primary outfit she's mostly seen wearing throughout the show. The outfit consists of a sleeveless pink shirt with a petal-like collar, blue-violet pants with flared petal-shaped openings and a darker colored waistband, and black heeled boots.
In a promotional artwork for the show, her outfit appeared different, having different a coloration. Her shirt was orange with darker spiral designs, her waistband was white and shiny with flower designs, her pants were more purple in color and flower elements from the opening. She also wore a white pearl necklace, matching the pearls on her hairline.

Her sleepwear that consists of a hot pink robe with light pink fur on the collar and at the ends, and pink furry slippers. And a party dress consisting of a light pink top, a skirt consisting of rose pink and light red flower petals, magenta gloves, red boots, and the pearls on head are light pink, along with a matching light pink pearl necklace and light pink pearl waistband.
Personality
Pearlie lives in a carved shell atop an old stone fountain in Jubilee Park. Although genuinely big-hearted, this sometimes deluded do-gooder thinks she knows what's best for everyone. Pearlie is completely unaware of the havoc she often wreaks with her nutty, over-the-top improvement plans for the park and its residents. All this helpfulness and enthusiasm cover up a bundle of insecurities. Pearlie tries hard to be good, honest and kind...but she's the only one who can't see that she already is. Taking care of a whole park is a tremendous amount of weight for such delicate wings to bear!
Pearlie is a happy-go-lucky positive character. She often goes around the park to help other fairies, or creatures in need of her help, including some antagonists. She and her cousin, Saphira, are big rivals of each other, being the exact opposite of each other, in appearance and personality. Pearlie is shown to generally care a lot about her family and friends, trying to protect them from anything or anyone. She is even shown to care about Saphira, worrying about her cousin, and generally forgiving her lots of times when she figures out Saphira did something to sabotage her. Overall, she is open to an antagonist's redemption, and often tries to understand them, to solve their problems. Her position as the Jubilee Park Fairy is greatly envied by Saphira, due to Saphira's lack of ability to make friends with other fairies, and not having the same lifestyle as Pearlie does.

- She and Saphira are cousins. They share a great aunt (Garnet), and their mothers are sisters.
- Pearlie is the exact opposite of Saphira, like yin and yang, since Pearlie wears bright clothing and is positive, while Saphira wears darker clothing and always thinks negative.
- Pearlie is a lawfully good character, due to wanting everybody to find their own happiness, including major antagonists like Saphira or Ludwig.
- Pearlie often isn't aware of Saphira's true intentions, and always thinks that Saphira is just misunderstood.
- Her famous catchphrases are "stars and moonbeams", "hurly burly", "roots and twigs", and "buds and blossoms!"
- Her crush is Leif.
- Pearlie lives in an oyster-shaped sculpture, and pearls are often found inside oysters.
- Additionally, Pearlie is named after the pearls she wears on top of her head.
- While her name is gem-themed like other characters, it is also marine-themed, similar to her mother, Coral.
